While the female emcee belts out sultry rendition of 'Chun-Li' and 'Rich Sex', her ex-boyfriend receives standing ovation for his emotional performance of 'Stay Woke'.

AceShowbiz - The 2018 BET Awards was certainly a night to remember. Viewers and audience at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on June 24 were treated to a number of show-stopping performances. Among the memorable performers that night were Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill.

Nicki turned up the heat at the event with her sultry performance. The female emcee first hit the stage to rap "Chun-Li" in a black and red robe. After the song was over, she took off her robe to reveal a cherry-red latex dress as she started belting out "Rich Sex". While featured collaborator Lil Wayne didn't join her onstage, she still slayed the performance thanks to her dance moves. Nicki twerked up a storm and put her booty on full display while writhing on the floor.

Her sexy performance didn't end there. The Trinidadian beauty once again hit the stage to perform "Big Bank" alongside YG, 2 Chainz and Big Sean. YG kicked off their rousing performance with his own verses before 2 Chainz and Big Sean delivered their lines. Nicki only appeared near the end of the performance, spitting her lines atop a sparkly pink horse statue.

Meanwhile, Meek used his performance at the event to debut his new song, "Stay Woke" featuring Miguel. Various acts of violence were depicted as backdrop as the duo belted out the song. The shocking centerpiece of the performance came when an innocent young girl was accidentally killed by a police officer. Paying tribute to XXXTENTACION and Jammy Wopo, who were killed by gun violence, Meek wore a black sweatshirt with the late rappers' faces on it. He received standing ovation for his performance.

Another memorable performance at the show was the Anita Baker tribute. Host Jamie Foxx opened the tribute by playing a piano and singing a medley of some the veteran singer's greatest hits. Marsha Ambrosius then sang "Caught Up in the Rapture", while Ledisi performed "Sweet Love". Yolanda Adams, on the other hand, brought Anita to tears with her stunning performance of "You Bring Me Joy".

Other performers at the award-giving show included Janelle Monae, Migos and J. Cole.
