Marsha Ambrosius-Billups, born Marsha Angelique Ambrosius on August 8, 1977, in Liverpool, England, is an acclaimed English singer and songwriter known for her soulful voice and emotive songwriting. Rising to fame as one half of the duo Floetry, she garnered significant attention in the early 2000s, contributing to the genre of R&B with a unique blend of spoken word and melodic elements. Her work with Floetry laid the groundwork for a successful solo career, which has since solidified her status as a prominent figure in contemporary music.
Ambrosius's music career began in earnest with Floetry, where she collaborated with fellow singer Natalie Stewart.
