The 'Shadowhunters' actor is added to the cast of the horror sequel as the last member of the Losers' Club, Mike.

AceShowbiz - The Losers' Club is now complete with Isaiah Mustafa. The "Shadowhunters" star has been cast in "It: Chapter 2" as the last adult member of the club, taking on the role of Mike, who was played by Chosen Jacobs in the 2017 horror hit.

It's Jacobs who announced the casting news on his Instagram page. He posted a black-and-white picture of the 44-year-old actor and captioned it, "You're one of us now @isaiahmustafa. #ITMovie."

Mustafa is best known as the Old Spice Guy in the series of Old Spice television commercials, The Man Your Man Could Smell Like. He recently wrapped up the final season of Freeform's series "Shadowhunters".

Mustafa joins Jessica Chastain who was previously cast as adult Bev, Bill Hader as adult Richie, James McAvoy as adult Bill, Jay Ryan as adult Ben, Andy Bean as adult Stan, and James Ransone as adult Eddie.

The original cast, including Finn Wolfhard, Sophia Lillis, Jaeden Lieberher, Jack Dylan Grazer, Chosen Jacobs, Wyatt Oleff and Jeremy Ray Taylor, are expected to reprise their roles as the Losers' Club members in flashbacks. Bill Skarsgard is also set to return as Pennywise.

Andy Muschietti is back to direct "It: Chapter 2", with Gary Dauberman writing the script once again. Barbara Muschietti, Dan Lin and Roy Lee are producing, while Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg are set to serve as executive producers. Production is slated to kick off this summer in Toronto for a September 6, 2019 release in the United States.

Andy Muschietti previously said that the kid elements in the next movie wouldn't just be brief throwbacks, but "they're a very big part of the action." He added, "On the second movie, that dialogue between timelines will be more present. If we're telling the story of adults, we are going to have flashbacks that take us back to the '80s and inform the story in the present day."
