AceShowbiz - Vivienne Westwood is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the wedding dress she made for the "Sex And The City" movie.

The British designer made a number of the garments worn by Sarah Jessica Parker's fashion-obsessed lead character Carrie Bradshaw, and also crafted the gown she wore for her wedding to beau Mr. Big (Chris Noth) in the 2008 movie.

To mark the anniversary of the film's release, Westwood is putting the gown on display at her flagship store in New York City until Sunday, June 3.

"To celebrate the 10th Anniversary since Carrie Bradshaw famously cat-walked down the aisle in arguably the most revered wedding gown in fashion history, the original wedding dress will be on display at our Vivienne Westwood New York Flagship boutique alongside the new SS18 ready-to-wear inspired pieces," a brand representative posted on Instagram with a slideshow of pictures of the gown.

The outfit Carrie wore was first unveiled as part of Westwood's Gold Label 2007-2008 collection, and was known as the Cloud dress. It features a corset top with deep-V neckline, nipped-in waist and ivory silk taffeta ballgown skirt.

While Westwood will always be linked to the famous gown, she previously revealed she was not a fan of the Sex and the City movie, which was directed by Michael Patrick King and also starred original TV show characters Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon.

"I thought Sex and the City was supposed to be about cutting-edge fashion and there was nothing remotely memorable or interesting about what I saw," she said in 2008.
