The 'Power' actor and the 'Sinister' star join Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy and Bill Hader, who have been added to the cast for the sequel to Stephen King's hit horror movie.

AceShowbiz - "It: Chapter 2" is slowly gathering the members of the Losers' Club. Andy Bean has just been added to the cast of the sequel to play the adult version of Stan Uris, who was portrayed by Wyatt Oleff in the 2017 hit horror film, Variety reports.
Earlier on Wednesday, May 16, James Ransone revealed on Twitter that he had been tapped to play adult Eddie Kaspbrak in the upcoming movie. Jack Dylan Grazer played young Eddie in the first movie. Ransone's tweet, however, has since been deleted.
Bean is perhaps best known for his role as Henry Bergen on HBO's series "Here and Now". He has also starred in "Transformers: The Last Knight" and had a recurring role as Grey on Starz's "Power".
As for Ransone, he is known for his roles as Ziggy Sobotka on HBO's "The Wire" and as The Deputy in supernatural horror film "Sinister" (2012) and its sequel "Sinister 2" (2015). The 38-year-old actor recently wrapped season 1 of Hulu's series "The First" which also stars Sean Penn and Natascha McElhone.
Bean and Ransone join Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy and Bill Hader who were previously reported to have landed roles in the "It" sequel. Chastain will play the adult version of Beverly Marsh, McAvoy is cast as Bill Denbrough, while Hader will portray Richie Tozier.
The original cast, including Finn Wolfhard, Sophia Lillis, Jaeden Lieberher, Jack Dylan Grazer, Chosen Jacobs, Wyatt Oleff and Jeremy Ray Taylor, are expected to reprise their roles as the Losers' Club members in flashbacks. Bill Skarsgard is also set to return as Pennywise.
Andy Muschietti is back to direct "It: Chapter 2", which is slated to begin production this summer in Toronto. The movie is set for a September 6, 2019 release in the United States.
