AceShowbiz - "Black Panther" stars Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan were the top men at the Met Gala in New York on Monday night, May 7. They opted for stand-out black and white outfits.
Boseman really took the "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination"-theme to heart and arrived in a clean, Pope-esque off-white Versace outfit, complete with Christian Louboutin shoes and a crucifix-adorned ivory cape, while his castmate went for a less ornate look, opting for a sleek black striped suit and a simple silver cross pin.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art annual benefit was hosted by Rihanna, Amal Clooney, fashion designer Donatella Versace, and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
Boseman and Jordan weren't the only guys standing out at the Met Gala. Jared Leto wore a really colourful number, while his bushy beard and thin crown made it easy for him to meet the theme of the night thanks to his similarity to the traditional images of Jesus Christ.
The other males making the fashionistas smile on the red carpet at the Met Gala included supermodel Gisele Bundchen's husband Tom Brady, Cole Sprouse and Shawn Mendes, who both went public with their romances to Lili Reinhart and Hailey Baldwin, respectively. And the ever-stylish George Clooney was also a big hit as he accompanied his wife Amal to the event, widely regarded as fashion's Oscars.
