AceShowbiz - Chrissy Teigen might have to skip out the 2018 Met Gala, but it doesn't mean that the pregnant model would not be having fun like the attendees. In fact, she still managed to steal the spotlight even though she wasn't present at the annual event.
Taking to her Instagram account, she shared a photo of herself lounging on a couch at her home while playing a game and watching "Vanderpump Rules". Chrissy, who is currently expecting her second child with John Legend, showed off her bare baby bump on the pic. "waiting for my turn on the carpet at #metgala!!!! always an honor!!!" she hilariously captioned the pic.
She then followed it up with a post which found her giving a hairdo tutorial. Along with a series of pictures of her hair in a messy bun, she joked in the caption, "This year's #metgala GLAM was #SUPER important to me as I wanted it to really embody the heavenly bodies theme!!! I think we nailed it!!! Swipe for for #creds!!!"
After detailing how she washed her hair, the "Lip Sync Battle" host continued, "I used a #rubberband to secure my hair into a pony... that I was careful not to pull out all the way! Lastly, I pulled out pieces around my #ears and #neck". Concluding the lengthy tutorial, she wrote, "Full tutorial coming up tomorrow!!!!!!! Like and subscribe!!!!"
It appeared Chrissy also wanted to give a makeup tutorial for her devoted followers. However, she decided not to do it after admitting that she was bummed that she couldn't attend the gala. "I was gonna do a makeup breakdown but I'm honestly just very jealous I'm not there. Also I need to drink water," she wrote alongside a couple of selfies.
Chrissy wasn't the only A-list celebrity who didn't attend this year's Met Gala. Beyonce Knowles also had to scrap her plan of attending the event.
