AceShowbiz - Cindy Crawford's daughter Kaia Gerber has been snapped up by fashion bosses at Saint Laurent for their upcoming Fall campaign. The 16-year-old's new video ad features her modelling the brand's latest designs to a soundtrack of The Velvet Underground's "Venus in Furs".

Bosses at the French fashion house released the footage along with four black-and-white images on Thursday, April 19, two months after Kaia, who has become one of the world's most in-demand models in just two years, stunned on the Saint Laurent runway in February.

Brand creative director Anthony Vaccarello has also recruited longtime Saint Laurent muse Betty Catroux for the Fall campaign.

Kate Moss, Zoe Kravitz, Vincent Gallo and Laetitia Casta all appeared in the fashion house's Spring 2018 campaign.

Kaia's supermodel icon mum, who manages the teen and her brother Presley, recently told the May issue of Town & Country Magazine she's grooming her kids to take control of their own modelling careers, stating, "Eventually I want to empower them to be in charge of their own careers, but they're not ready for that yet. Right now they're mostly, 'Mum, just tell me what to do.' "

And she warned that anyone who takes advantage of her kids will have her to answer to. "As far as being a mother of two young people going into fashion, of course I worry, but let's be honest, my kids are blessed in that business because they aren't coming in as unknowns," she explained. "People will know I will come after them if they mess with my kids."
