While Carrie delivered an emotional performance of her new single 'Cry Pretty', Kelly and Reba belted out the latter's 1993 hit track 'Does He Love You'.

AceShowbiz - "American Idol" alums Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson were among the big performers at the 2018 Academy Country Music Awards, which was held on April 15 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. After her gruesome accident last year, Carrie finally returned to the stage with an emotional performance of her new single "Cry Pretty".

It was her first time performing the new song to a live audience. Donning a sparkling cocktail dress and tear-shaped glitter makeup below her eyes, the blonde songstress showcased her powerful vocals before a rapt crowd. She even received a standing ovation when she finished her performance, stepping back from the mic.

Meanwhile, Kelly joined forces with her mother-in-law Reba McEntire to perform a stunning rendition of the latter's hit "Does He Love You". Their collaboration came as a part of the first ever "ACM Flashback," which honored classic country music hits.

"I'm thrilled to be a part of this final AMC Flashback moment of the night because I'm not only singing with my friends but one one my musical heroes," Kelly said ahead of their performance. "We first sang this song 16 years ago right here in Las Vegas. I was terrified. I sucked, she was so nice, though, afterwards."

Kelly wasn't the only pop star who visited the country music event. Bebe Rexha also graced the stage at the event, performing her single "Meant to Be" along with Florida Georgia Line. The musical duo first started the song on a small stage before Bebe came out to join them. A long line of backup singers stood behind them, harmonizing while dancing to the song.

Another pop star who hit the stage at the event was Julia Michaels, who teamed up with Keith Urban to deliver "Coming Home". Julia only appeared near the end of the performance though, as the two ended their performance by sharing a hug.

Other musicians who performed at the award-giving show included Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton and Little Big Town.
