Though the pair, who have been married since 2010, are often private about their outings, this night marked one of their few public joint appearances in recent times.

She explained, "I went from living on a farm to being on stage in front of a ton of people and traveling and we're in a different city every day. I learned very quickly that this is not real life."
She went on to describe the music industry as “so wonderful” but acknowledged that the world it takes her to often feels disconnected from everyday reality. For Carrie Underwood, it’s essential that her home life feels vastly different from the constant whirlwind of fame and performance.
"We have definitely established that," she continued. "My kids see me. We get up, we take them to school, we're making breakfast, packing lunches." This hands-on approach to parenting is a priority for the singer.
The evening routine is no exception, as Carrie Underwood shared that her family eats dinner together at the table at least five nights a week. She noted, "We eat dinner at least five nights a week at the dinner table, and it's something I cooked. I don't know if it's good or not, but we ain't starving."
