The Grant Singer-directed music video features the Canadian singer belting out the song in a surreal forest where a haunting bird-human hybrid lives.

AceShowbiz - The music video for The Weeknd's "Call Out My Name" is here for viewing pleasure. Premiered on April 12, the visuals features the Canadian singer walking a lonely road as he belts out the alleged Selena Gomez diss track.

The Grant Singer-directed clip begins with The Weeknd leaning on a pole on a sidewalk before he starts walking across a dark street. It seems normal at first, but The Weeknd suddenly throws up a bunch of bats as he begins singing the chorus.

He then takes the stage in an abandoned theater, which transforms into a surreal forrest. The Weeknd doesn't look surprised at the sudden transformation as he continues singing. "I said I didn't feel nothing, baby, but I lied/ I almost cut a piece of myself for your life," he rhymes. "Guess I was just another pit stop/ 'Til you made up your mind."

While The Weeknd appears alone in most of the scenes, the clip also features a series of animals as well as a haunting bird-human hybrid. The end of the clip finds the hybrid peering from a high-rise balcony before the screen fades to black.

"Call Out My Name" is one of the tracks off his surprise EP "My Dear Melancholy". It is reported that he plans an epic performance of the track at the Coachella Valley Music Arts Festival in Indio, California on April 13.

A source previously revealed that the R&B musician "needed to do it." The source added, "And he can't wait to sing the song live at Coachella because it will be a cathartic experience for him to finally get over [Selena]."

"My Dear Melancholy", which was released on Friday, March 30, debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart, marking his third consecutive No. 1 album on the chart.
