Justin Bieber is bonding with his formerly estranged mom Pattie Mallette. The Canadian heartthrob apparently got to enjoy a tropical getaway with his mom, who took to her Instagram account to gush over her famous son.

"I'm so proud of the amazing man you are, and the young man you are becoming," Pattie captioned a photo of her cuddling the "Sorry" hitmaker on what looks like a luxury yacht with blue ocean at the background. "None of us are perfect and never will be, (so we will always need patience and grace for each other), but your genuine growing relationship with Jesus is evident in the choices you are making daily and the good 'fruit' you bear."

"I admire your character and integrity. You are maturing beautifully and wise beyond your years," Pattie continued saying of the 23-year-old star. "You are so funny that I find myself laughing out loud when I'm alone, remembering of something you said or did. And your heart is gold. I love you to the moon and back. #lovemom"

Before ending her post, Justin's mom added, "Ps. Did I mention I was proud of you?"

Pattie's heartwarming words for Justin arrive while his reunited girlfriend Selena Gomez is having a rocky relationship with her mother Mandy Teefey, reportedly because the latter is not happy with Selena getting back together with Justin.

Mandy previously wrote on Instagram a long comment in which she addressed the issue of her trying to stop Selena from working with Woody Allen on the upcoming movie "A Rainy Day in New York". "Sorry no one can make Selena do anything she doesn't want to," Mandy wrote. "I had a long talk with her about not talking with him and it didn't click."

"Her team are amazing people," Mandy went on saying of the "Fetish" singer. "There is no fall person here. No one controls her. She makes all of her own decisions...No matter how hard you try, it falls on deaf ears."
