Demi Lovato had some words for the editors of TIME who felt that it was alright to include Donald Trump on their list of people who deserve Person of the Year title. This year, the magazine honored the women, including Ashley Judd and Taylor Swift, who spoke up about sexual harassment. Trump, meanwhile, was named the runner-up for the title, while it is known that he was accused for sexually harassing sixteen women before.

Lovato has taken to Twitter to question the editors' decision of choosing the president of America as the runner-up. She even called the magazine "hypocrites." She tweeted, "TIME mag highlights brave women coming forward against sexual assault on the cover but names a man with sexual assault allegations against him runner up to Person of the Year.. Really @TIME? #hypocrites."

Her rant didn't stop there. In another tweet, she said that she had become "less vocal about my distain for certain people over the past year because it only divides our country even more but this is worth speaking up about." She then expressed her disappointment over the magazine, saying, "Very disappointed in your hypocrisy and disrespect toward the women on your cover."

The former Disney darling concluded her rant by giving advice to the magazine, "To be named POTY by @TIME it should be for doing something positive or brave LIKE the women on the cover." She added, "It's annoying that it's just about impact on the news."

Representatives for TIME have not responded to Lovato's latest rant on Twitter.

As previously mentioned, the magazine honored women who spoke up about sexual harassment. They were called "The Silence Breakers," which referred to "individuals who set off a national reckoning over the prevalence of sexual harassment."

"These silence breakers have started a revolution of refusal, gathering strength by the day, and in the past two months alone, their collective anger has spurred immediate and shocking result: nearly every day, CEOs have been fired, mogul toppled, icons disgraced," the magazine wrote. "In some cases, criminal charges have been brought."
