AceShowbiz - Stars and their dancing partners were back to the ballroom in Monday, October 9 episode of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars", presenting their "Most Memorable Year". That night's episode featured Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who sat out last week's performance due to alleged feud with partner Vanessa Lachey a.k.a. Vanessa Minnillo, returning to the ballroom as well as the judges awarding a couple with season 25's first 10s.

First to take the stage were Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson, dancing a Quickstep to Coldplay's "Adventure of a Lifetime". Featuring a beautiful sparkling effect, the performance told a story about Muniz overcoming his struggle with massive memory loss due to mini strokes and multiple concussions. "Lots of quickstep content which I appreciate, thoroughly enjoyed it and a great opening to tonight's show and well done," judge Len Goodman said. The pair got 24 points out of 30!

Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke followed it up with a Viennese Waltz to "I Have Nothing" by Whitney Houston. Terrell, whose most memorable year was 2012 when he lost his grandmother, looked dapper in a suit while elegantly dancing. "I saw poise, I saw a newfound elegance. It elevated everything," Carrie Ann Inaba gushed. Tying with Frankie, the former footballer earned 24 points.

Nikki Bella shared that her most memorable year was 2016, the year she made her comeback to the WWE ring after suffering an injury. She danced a Contemporary to Rachel Platten's "Fight Song" with Artem Chigvintsev, and Carrie Ann couldn't help gushing, "I saw your inner dialogue in your movements…that's the first time we have really seen you..it was beautiful." Nikki and Artem got 24.

Nick Lachey and Peta Murgatroyd also danced a Contemporary with Marketa Irglova and Glen Hansard's "Falling Slowly" serving as the background song. Nick named 2011 his most memorable year as he and Vanessa got married in that year. Bruno said, "I love it because you showed your intensity. Light on your feet and energy was much better; watch your balance." Nick earned 22 points.

Lindsey Stirling, whose most memorable year was 2016 when her dad died of cancer, and Mark Mallas did a Viennese Waltz to "Anchor" by Mindy Gledhill. Lindsey and Mark, who channeled Lindsey's father by wearing a scarf and a hat, delivered a "gorgeous and magical" performance. "There is such a unique artistry to you," said teary-eyed Carrie Ann. They got a 26.

Derek Fisher and Sharna Burgess opted for a Jazz to "Move on Up" by Curtis Mayfield. Derek revealed that 2007 was his most memorable year when his 10-month-old daughter was diagnosed with a rare form of eye cancer. "Great rhythm and style. Uplifting and for me, your best dance," Len said. The couple earned 23 points.

The performance was followed by Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold's Contemporary to "Take Me Home" by Us the Duo. Jordan felt that his year was 2005 when he was officially adopted by his grandparents. Bruno praised Jordan, "That was exquisitely flawless. You dance with such open-hearted sincerity and honesty. A work of art." Jordan got 29 points, including the first two 10s of the season.

Sasha Pieterse and Gleb Savchenko earned 24 their Foxtrot which was set to The Fray's "Over My Head (Cable Car)". The "Pretty Little Liars" star said that 2016 was her year as she was struggling with her health. "I love the transition and loved the storytelling," Carrie Ann said, while Bruno dubbed it "a proper foxtrot."

Maks returned to the show this week after his "personal issue" last week. He and his partner Vanessa danced a Rumba to "Godspeed (Sweet Dreams)" by Vanessa's husband Nick. Vanessa revealed 2017 was her most memorable year as her third child completed her family. They got 24 points.

Drew Scott, who chose 2007 as his year when "Property Brothers" was born, and Emma Slater danced a Jive to Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" with a surprise appearance of his brother Jonathan Scott. Carrie Ann said that she "loved" the performance, but she advised Scott "to fix the weird movement your hands are doing. It's not major but you were pronging it."

Rounding out that night performance were Victoria Arlen and Valentin Chmerkovskiy. They danced a Foxtrot to "I Lived" by OneRepublic. Victoria revealed that she almost died when she was 11 years old. "My darling! What you have been through and achieved is beyond belief. You are an inspiration to me and everyone. You emerged as a star and danced like one too," Bruno told Victoria, who earned 27 points.

And came the time to announce which couple that would be eliminated. Derek & Sharna and Nick & Peta were the one thrown in jeopardy. Unfortunately, Derek and Sharna were eliminated.
