The 'Wonder Woman' actress and the 'Big Sicks' star are set to host the second and third episodes of upcoming season 43 respectively.

AceShowbiz - Wonder Woman is heading to "Saturday Night Live". Gal Gadot has been tapped to serve as host in the upcoming second episode of season 43 of the hit NBC late-night sketch comedy.

"Saturday Night Live" announces the exciting news through a photo posted on its Twitter account. Gadot will take the hosting duty in the October 7 episode of the series with Sam Smith as the musical guest.

It marks the first time for the actress to host "SNL". The gig came after her latest movie "Wonder Woman", in which she portrays the titular character, earned more than $400 million at the domestic box office. Meanwhile, it will be Smith's second visit to the long-running show. Smith recently dropped a new single titled "Too Good at Goodbyes", coming off his upcoming second studio album.

The following episode will see Kumail Nanjiani ("The Big Sicks") making his debut as a host on "SNL". The "Silicon Valley" actor will host with musical guest Pink. Pink is set to release her upcoming seventh studio effort "Beautiful Trauma" on October 13, a day before the episode airs.

Previously, it was announced that Ryan Gosling will host the show's season premiere with Jay-Z as the musical guest. It marks his second time hosting the Emmy-winning show after guest-starring alongside Leon Bridges back in 2015.

The "La La Land" actor's upcoming appearance on the comedy show will line up with the release date of his upcoming movie "Blade Runner 2049". Also starring Harrison Ford, the flick is set to hit U.S. theaters on October 6.

Meanwhile, Jay-Z, who dropped explosive new album titled "4:44", is more familiar with the show as the upcoming episode will be his fourth time serving as musical guest. His last appearance on the show was in May 2010 when Betty White was the host. "Saturday Night Live" season 43 is scheduled to premiere on September 30 at 11.30 P.M. on NBC.
