AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez was showered with love from her fans and fellow celebrities alike after she opened up about getting a kidney transplant. Kesha, Lady GaGa and Demi Lovato were among those who applauded the "Fetish" singer for her brave battle against lupus.

Besides praising Selena, Kesha sent her support for Lady GaGa who recently revealed that she suffered from fibromyalgia. The "Tik Tok" hitmaker seemingly related to the two stars due to her own struggle with depression and eating disorder.

"My heart is with @selenagomez and @ladygaga. We're all human & need self care. i hope both these icons heal safe & feel good. such wonderful role models for being so honest with a very critical world," so Kesha wrote on Instagram.

Meanwhile, the Mother Monster reached out to Selena on Twitter, "Prayers & love to @selenagomez you are a warrior princess. What an inspiration." Selena's fellow Disney alum Demi Lovato gushed to PEOPLE, "I think that she is a very strong woman. I'm very happy and proud of her."

Selena Gomez, 25, reportedly had kidney failure in May. In a recent Instagram post, she posted a picture of her and friend Francia Raisa lying on hospital beds side-by-side and, in the process, explained why she kept low profile over the summer.

She told her fans that she had surgery and received kidney transplant from her friend. "There aren't words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful friend Francia Raisa," she wrote. "She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me. I am incredibly blessed. I love you so much sis," she wrote. Francia responded on her own page, "Love you sis, so glad we're on this journey together."

It's unclear when exactly they had the surgery, but both have returned to work after making recovery. Selena is filming a new Woody Allen movie while Francia is shooting her own new TV series "Grown-ish".
