The untitled project, which hails from 'The Good Wife' grad Todd E. Kessler, will star the 'Wonder Woman' actor as the late charismatic politician.

AceShowbiz - Chris Pine continues to expand his TV prospects following his upcoming TNT series "One Day She'll Darken". The "Wonder Woman" actor is set to star on an untitled project about Robert F. Kennedy on Hulu, with the actor playing the charismatic politician.
According to Deadline, the planned project hails from Todd E. Kessler ("The Good Wife"), Overbrook Entertainment and Sony Pictures TV Studios. The untitled drama will be based on Larry Tye's 2016 biography "Bobby Kennedy: The Making of a Liberal Icon".
The book was based on hundreds of interviews with Kennedy intimates, including his widow, Ethel. Tye also drew from unpublished memoirs, unreleased government files and boxes of Kennedy papers that had been locked away for some 40 years.
In addition to starring, Pine is attached to executive produce alongside Tye, James Lassiter and Caleeb Pinkett. Kessler will also serve as executive producer as well as writer.
This is not the first time for Hulu to develop a series centering on a Kennedy. The network previously aired a TV adaptation of "11.22.63" starring James Franco. The series revolves around a man who travels through time in an attempt to stop the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
For "One Day She'll Darken", Pine will reunite with "Wonder Woman" director Patty Jenkins. On the Fauna Hodel-inspired drama, the "Star Trek Beyond" star will play Jay Singletary, a former Marine-turned-hack reporter and paparazzo. Jay was disgraced over his story about Hodel years prior, but now he sees a glimmer of redemption.
The six-part series follows Hodel, who was given away by her teenage birth mother to a black restroom attendant in a Nevada casino in 1949. As Hodel begins to investigate the secrets to her past, she follows a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to an infamous Hollywood gynecologist, Dr. George Hodel, a man involved in the darkest Hollywood debauchery, the spider in the web around the legendary "Black Dahlia" murder of Elizabeth Short in Los Angeles in 1947.
