The Material Girl is excited to enter 'the next chapter' in her life, working on a follow up to 'Rebel Heart' and directing a movie called 'Loved'.

AceShowbiz - Madonna moves out of the United States. The Material Girl now lives in Lisbon, Portugal. The 59-year-old singer announced it to her online followers on Instagram, saying that her creative juice was flowing at her new home.

Madge revealed that she was working on her next studio album and a new movie. "The energy of Portugal is so inspiring. I feel very creative and alive here and I look forward to working on my film LOVED and making New Music!!!" she gushed. "This will be the next Chapter in My Book! It's time to conquer the world from a different vantage point!!"

In another post, the mother of six shared a picture of kitchen decorated with baskets hanging from the ceiling. "I used to be a basket case but now I live in Lisbon!" she wrote in the caption.

The new album will be Madonna's 14th studio effort. She last dropped an album in 2015. Relased in March, "Rebel Heart" featured Nicki Minaj, Chance the Rapper and Mike Tyson. Six months later, she embarked on a world tour. She traveled the world starting September 2015 and wrapped it up in March 2016.

Meanwhile, "Loved" will be Madge's latest directorial feature film since 2013's "W.E." that depicted the affair between King Edward VIII and American divorcee Wallis Simpson, and a romance between a married woman and a Russian security guard. The singer made her directorial debut with 2008's "Filth and Wisdom". In 2013, she colaborated with Steven Klein to direct a black-and-white short film "Secret Project Revolution".

"Loved" is adapted from Andrew Sean Greer's novel "The Impossible Lives of Greta Wells" about a woman who finds herself transported to the past. "It touches on a lot of really important topics I've always invested in or championed - fighting for women's rights, gay rights, civil rights - always fighting for the underdog," she told Harper's Bazaar in January.

"Why does this book appeal to me? Why did I want to adapt it into a screenplay? Because it touches me on so many levels and it deals with so many important topics," so she explained. "Right now, more than ever, it's an extremely timely story to tell."

The musician will co-write the screenplay, but it's unclear if she will act in front of camera as well. In 2006, she starred in an animated/live-action movie "Arthur and the Invisibles". She was joined by Jimmy Fallon, Mia Farrow, David Bowie, Jason Bateman, Robert De Niro and Snoop Dogg among others.
