AceShowbiz - At the age of 51, Gavin Rossdale is still partying like a rock star. The Bush frontman hosted a party at his residence in San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles earlier this week, but he had to cut it short after cops suddenly showed up, TMZ reported.
The ex-husband of Gwen Stefani landed in hot water after a neighbor complained about the noise coming from his bash. The site further claimed that the complaint was made relatively early, around 10:15 P.M. when the singer played loud music. Upon police's arrival, Gavin was reportedly very cooperative and respectful when discussing the complaint. He even jokingly told the officers, "I was just breaking it up, anyway."
Gavin bought his bachelor pad for $7.6 million in May last year, a month after splitting from Gwen Stefani. The two share custody of their three children, 11-year-old Kingston James McGregor, 9-year-old Zuma Nesta Rock and three-year-old Apollo Bowie Flynn.
While the "Hollaback Girl" hitmaker has now moved on with Blake Shelton, Gavin is said to be dating model Sophia Thomalla. "Gwen is really happy for Gavin. She's met Sophia and she really likes her," a source told HollywoodLife.com. "Leaving Gavin and going through a divorce was the most painful thing gwen has ever had to deal with, and she was really angry at him for a long time."
"But if they hadn't split, then she wouldn't have gotten invloved with Blake, so she tries to see the breakup in a positive light--it led her meeting her soulmate," the source continued. "She and Gavin are in a good place now and she wants nothing but the best for him."
Gavin has been spending a lot of time in his home and studio to work on new music as of late. His band Bush is back on the music scene. First formed in 1992, the four-piece band split up in 2002 before reuniting again in 2010.
