Is Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden's marriage on the rocks? Rumor has it, the couple has had problems due to her struggles to conceive a baby. A source tells OK! that the 43-year-old actress is often in bad mood as she's gone through fertility treatments.
"Benji has done his best to be understanding towards Cameron and everything she's gone through with fertility treatments, but she's simply exhausted and rarely in a good mood," the source claims. "She's put her career on hold, and she knows how much Benji wants a baby, so she's frustrated and feels like a failure."
The source adds that the pair's relationship is also strained because Benji is often away in Australia working as a coach on the country's version of "The Voice" and Cameron is being "high-maintenance." The source says, "Cameron's insecurities have made her controlling, and it's driving him crazy. Some friends are saying they need to see a therapist or better communicate and get their marriage back on track."
Gossip Cop, however, has debunked the story. Citing a source close to the "Charlie's Angels" star, the site says the tabloid's claim is "not true." In fact, Cameron recently gushed about her husband and his new album "Youth Authority" in an Instagram post.
"One of my favorite things about being married is how much pride I take in my husband," she wrote earlier this month. "He makes me proud everyday. One day it might be how generous and giving, another how gentle and thoughtful. Or when he is fiercely protective of the people he loves and cares about."
