Shawn Mendes took to Twitter on Tuesday, July 5 to reveal the title of his upcoming album. Shawn's second album will be called "Illuminate". Fans who pre-order the album on July 8 will automatically get "Ruin ", "Treat You Better " and three other tracks.
"Illuminate" is set to hit the stores on September 23. In the album cover, Shawn is seen sitting on a wooden chair while holding an electric guitar. He wears a black jacket over a grey tee and jeans. The 17-year-old singer completes his look with a pair of booties.

Shawn teased some clips possibly from his next music video for "Illuminate". He captioned it all with the hashtag #ILLUMINATE. He also teased "one more massive surprise" to be unveiled on Wednesday morning, July 6.
