Kim Richards Ordered Back to Court for Wearing High Heels, but Not Attending Community Service

The reality TV star was slammed by prosecutors after she's spotted wearing high heels on a red carpet, despite claims she couldn't attend any court-ordered community service due to a foot injury.

AceShowbiz - Kim Richards was ordered back to court on Wednesday, February 24 for stepping out on a red carpet in high heels, TMZ reports. During Richards' probation progress report hearing, prosecutors slammed the 51-year-old actress for wearing high heels, despite claims that she had a foot injury that prevented her from attending any court-ordered community service following her drunken arrest.

During the Wednesday hearing, it was revealed that Richards had not yet performed any of the required community service. Her legal team then defended her, saying that Paris Hilton's aunt was still recovering from foot and knee injuries, so her movement capability was limited at the time.

However, prosecutors questioned why the reality star had been spotted recently wearing high heels on a red carpet if her foot was still injured. Back on Christmas Day, Richards uploaded a photo featuring herself standing in front of a Christmas tree wearing a pair of black high heel boots alongside her friends.

"If she is wearing heels, it is on the red carpet or in situations where she only needs to wear them for a few minutes," a source close to Richards told Entertainment Tonight. "She isn't out there jogging in her high heels. Kim will be prepared with the proper documentation [at the next court hearing]."

In case you don't remember, Richards was arrested for public intoxication in April 2015 at the Beverly Hills Hotel. She was given three years' probation and she has to complete 30 days community community service and attend 52 AA meetings. The next status hearing in Richards' case has been set for June 1, when she has to prove that she has completed her punishment or she must submit a doctor's note explaining why she can't.
