Speaking to Graham Norton, Matthew said he will be a part of the special despite report that he would not be able to make it due to his West End theater commitments. "The other five are going to be on this special and I am going to introduce them from London," he shared.

During his appearance, Matthew also took the apartment quiz from the classic episode "The One With The Embryos".

NBC announced "Friends" special honoring director James Burrows at the Television Critics Association panel on Wednesday, January 13. Matthew, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer were scheduled to appear in the February 21 special.

While the network's chief Bob Greenblatt said it could be difficult to bring them together at the same time, Paul Telegdy confirmed that all of them would be participating in some capacity.
