AceShowbiz - Zayn Malik turned 23 on Tuesday, January 12. His girlfriend Gigi Hadid took to Instagram to share a sweet snap in honor of Zayn's birthday. Alongside the snap, she wrote, "ZDAY," and put a heart emoji.
The snap showed a Z-pendant necklace with the date and time in the upper left corner. Though Zayn didn't directly reply to Gigi's sweet post, he tweeted, "Thank you for all my birthday messages[.] Feeling the love today." He also replied to some of birthday messages sent by his fans.
Later on the same day, Zayn tweeted, "Party time." A source told E! News, "Gigi and Zayn are spending the special occasion together. Gigi loves birthdays, so she is happy she can be [there] to celebrate [it] with him."
Furthermore, Gigi reportedly had special gifts for the birthday boy. "She got him some thoughtful gifts that he will really like," said the source. It's still unknown if the Z-pendant necklace Gigi showed on Instagram was one of her presents for Zayn.
Zayn's birthday is just one day after Gigi's mother Yolanda Foster's (previously known as Yolanda Hadid) birthday. On the previous day, the Victoria's Secret Angel posted on Instagram a black-and-white picture of Yolanda when she was younger. Alongside the throwback picture, Gigi wrote, "You are the best mom and friend I could ever hope to have; thank you for endlessly teaching and inspiring me. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMMA @yolandahfoster I love you more than anything!"
