The former Jonas Brothers member hits No. 1 on Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart with 'Levels' from the re-release of his 2014 self-titled album.

AceShowbiz - This has been another big year for Nick Jonas. After spending the past months promoting his 2014 self-titled album as well as making cameo on some TV shows, he capped off 2015 by dropping the record's re-release "Nick Jonas X2" which included his latest hit single "Levels".

The song, written and produced by Ian Kirkpatrick and The Monsters and the Strangerz, came out back in August to generally positive reviews. It peaked at No. 44 on Bilboard Hot 100 and reached No. 1 on Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart.

Jonas' "X2" came while he was preparing his next solo album, which is expected to be released sometime next year. He recently shared a new detail of the forthcoming project in an interview for the December issue of L'Uomo Vogue. "I'm very pleased about the work done on the new album, it has more of a soul/R&B sound than the previous ones," he explained.

In addition to the new full-length, Jonas is now readying a tour with longtime friend and fellow former Disney star Demi Lovato. The two singers, who hit the road together several times when he was still a part of the Jonas Brothers, are scheduled to kick off the 44-date trek on June 24 at Florida's BB&T Center.
