Nick Jonas drops his long-awaited solo album, *Sunday Best*, featuring the lead single *Gut Punch*. Discover his personal journey through 11 new tracks.

AceShowbiz - Nick Jonas has just unveiled his latest album, Sunday Best, which dropped at midnight through Republic Records. This marks the first solo project from the celebrated Jonas Brother in nearly five years.
The album is highlighted by the lead single, Gut Punch, which Jonas first performed live during his tour in Las Vegas last November. He also showcased the track recently on The Tonight Show.
Gut Punch is one of 11 tracks that make up the album, a personal exploration of Nick's experiences as a husband and father.
“I’m so excited to share these new stories, candid thoughts, quiet walks home in the city, and snapshots of my life over these past few years,” Nick expressed in a statement. “While this album was made over the course of the last two years, it was truly 33 years in the making.”
This latest release is Nick’s fifth solo album, following 2021’s Spaceman, which achieved a peak position of No. 12 on the Billboard 200. Since the release of Spaceman, Nick has also collaborated with brothers Joe and Kevin on two albums: 2023’s The Album and 2025’s Greetings From Your Hometown, both of which successfully charted in the top 10.
As a solo artist, Nick has seen considerable success, with eight songs making it onto the Billboard Hot 100 throughout his career, including the popular top 10 hit, Jealous.
Last year, the American artist toured extensively with the Jonas Brothers to commemorate their 20th anniversary as a band. Just before Christmas, Nick treated approximately 200 lucky fans to an exclusive preview of his new album at Toronto’s Powder Room, which was beautifully themed around Sunday Best.
During this special event, Nick participated in a Q&A session where he revealed insights into the creation of Sunday Best and provided details about his emotional state during its development. The album’s inspiration draws from his church upbringing, the emotional experiences he and his wife, Priyanka Chopra, faced after the Los Angeles fires, and the influence of Canadian songwriter JP Saxe.
