While fans are waiting for the first trailer for "Star Trek Beyond", which will debut at the screening of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", three images of the upcoming "Star Trek" movie have made their way online. The three leaked images give a close-up look at three key characters in the film.

The first photo features an alien character played by Sofia Boutella. The character doesn't seem to represent any existing Star Trek races. She has white skin, white hair and black facial markings. Although Boutella's exact role is still undisclosed, there has been a speculation that she is the Enterprise's ally. Besides Boutella's character, there is a glimpse of a terrifying alien character and Zachary Quinto's Spock.

Additionally, a title treatment for the film has been revealed. The short video shows the words "Star Trek Beyond" emerging from foggy and snowy background.

"Star Trek Beyond" is directed by Justin Lin and stars Chris Pine as Captain James T. Kirk, Quinto as Commander Spock, Karl Urban as LCDR Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy, Simon Pegg as LCDR Montgomery "Scotty" Scott, John Cho as LT Hikaru Sulu, Zoe Saldana as LT Nyota Uhura, Anton Yelchin as Ensign Pavel Chekov and Idris Elba as the film's villain. The sci-fi movie is set for a U.S. release on July 22, 2016.
