Selena Gomez is setting the record straight on Niall Horan dating rumors. Speaking to ET on the red carpet of the 2015 Billboard's Women in Music event on Friday, December 11, the "Good for You" songstress was asked whether she's dating the One Direction member.

"Oh my god! No," Selena told the reporter while laughing. "I love him, I always have. He's amazing," added the singer of "The Heart Wants What It Wants" of her rumored boyfriend. During the interview, she also cleared up rumors that she 00092035wasn't singing live during the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

When asked about her decision to defend her performance, Selena replied, "I think I got a trouble about my comments. I just felt like for me, I am in a place where it is my right to say something and defend myself, because I'm always kind, I'm always nice. Every now and then I deserve to say what I feel."

Selena also commented on receiving the Chart-Topper Award at Billboard Women in Music. "All of this is overwhelming," said the 23-year-old singer.

Selena first sparked dating rumors with Niall after they were spotted having dinner together in Malibu in late November. In early December, the rumored couple was reportedly seen making out at Jenna Dewan-Tatum's 35th birthday. They were later seen together again at Santa Monica Pier.
