The 'Breaking Bad' prequel series starring Bob Odenkirk will return February 15, 2016, AMC has announced.

AceShowbiz - "Better Call Saul" season 2 has got a premiere date. AMC has announced that the "Breaking Bad" prequel series, which follows Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) as a small-time lawyer before he becomes Walter White's (Bryan Cranston) lawyer, will return with the new episodes starting Monday, February 15, 2016 at 10/9c on the network.

"Jimmy McGill's journey takes surprising, left-handed turns in season 2 of 'Better Call Saul'," showrunner Peter Gould says in a statement, teasing the new installment. "He goes to places we'd never, ever expected. As for Mike Ehrmantraut [Jonathan Banks], he's pulled deeper into a world he was sure he'd left forever. We can't wait to share the next chapter of 'Better Call Saul' with the fans who have embraced the show."

"Better Call Saul" debuted to 6.9 million viewers and a 3.4 rating in the coveted adults 18-49 demographic last February, setting the best series premiere in cable history. It nabbed several nominations at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Odenkirk.

AMC had ordered a 13-episode second season of the drama before its series premiere.
