The director hinted that the trailer would arrive in six months while also saying that the upcoming movie would include a 'heartbreaking' scene.

AceShowbiz - Although there have been many updates about "X-Men: Apocalypse", fans are very eager to know when the first trailer will be released. In an interview at the San Pedro International Film Festival, director Bryan Singer revealed that the trailer might be released in six months. He also teased a "heartbreaking" scene which involves Michael Fassbender's Magneto.

Unlike previous "X-Men" movies which duration was not more than two hours, "Apocalypse" will be longer. Singer said that the upcoming movie would be like the conclusion of six movies."I think it's gonna be a longer 'X-Men' movie. The 'X-Men' movies, I usually I keep under two hours, but this one I may actually let be a longer movie because it's sort of a wrap-up of six movies," the director said.

He went on hinting at the possible time to release the trailer and promising fans that the movie would not be boring though it would run a little bit longer. "There's even an homage at the end. There's a scene - it's gonna get spoiled because that decided to use it in the trailer which comes out, like six months, but it's a really cool trailer - but the [homage] is kind of a wrap up of six movies. So, it might run a little bit long, but it's not boring," Singer said.

He slipped some plot details as he teased some new characters. "There's new characters, young characters, rekindled romances like with [Charles] Xavier and Moira MacTaggert played by Rose Byrne who is amazing," he continued.

Singer also hinted at an emotional moment during filming that left him in tears. "Michael Fassbender did something so wonderful in this movie... He did something that made me cry in the tent. I've never done that before. The head of my company grabbed a Kleenex," Singer recounted.

"Simon Kinberg, the writer who has no emotions at all, actually became emotional. It was so beautiful, I've never seen an actor do this for me and [Fassbender] just took the scene to a whole 'nother level," he continued. "It's a heartbreaking scene, not a typical comic book movie scene at all, so let's hope it makes the cut," he said.

In the upcoming movie, Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Beast (Nicholas Hoult) and Professor X (James McAvoy) are teaming up to fight against the newly-unleashed enemy Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac), who recruits a team of powerful mutants. "X-Men: Apocalypse" is scheduled for a release in U.S. theaters on May 27, 2016.
