'I have to read the news to find out what's happening in my life,' said 20-year-old Gigi on rumors of her and Kendall fighting over Lewis.

AceShowbiz - Gigi Hadid looked fierce and fabulous on the cover of W Magazine's September 2015 Fashion Issue, to which she talked about rumors of her and best friend Kendall Jenner fighting over racing star Lewis Hamilton, to whom they were romantically linked earlier this year. "Supposedly, Kendall [Jenner] and I are fighting over Lewis [Hamilton]. I have to read the news to find out what's happening in my life," she claimed.
Not discussing much more about the topic, the 20-year-old supermodel went on sharing to the magazine about her modeling success and naked photo shoots. "I've never been scared of being naked in pictures, but I wouldn't do naked for naked's sake," she stated. She went on telling W about posing nearly naked for Tom Ford's Velvet Orchid fragrance campaign. "With Tom, it was an easy decision. When you think of scent, you don't think of clothes. In the beginning, I thought Tom would not want to know my name. But he made a space for me in the high-fashion world. When Tom liked me, other jobs followed," she explained.
And when it came to her sky rocketing career as a model, Gigi said, "My Pirelli calendar is hanging on the wall of my friend's frat house, and he doesn't know anything about fashion. That balance is what leads to big campaigns outside of fashion. But I never want to choose one or the other. Both commercial and high fashion are what make my job so interesting." She continued adding, "I have always been aware of the business side of this industry. I've always seen it as a career that required work and planning."
Also well aware of her social media popularity, Gigi was quoted as saying, "I have more than 4 million followers on Instagram. All the companies I work for want me to guarantee how much I'll post for them, but I'm not going to force my career onto the people who follow me. I refuse to do 40 Instagram posts about any campaign." The coveted September 2015 Fashion Issue of W Magazine will be hitting newsstands on August 18.
