"Arrow" has tapped Ryan Robbins to take on another villainous role in season 4. The Canadian actor, best known for playing Ladon Radim on "Stargate: Atlantis", will portray a recurring role of Conklin, a sadistic and ruthless member of Shadowspire, on the DC comics-adapted series.
Conklin is an adversary for Oliver (Stephen Amell) and will appear in the flashback sequences. Baron Reiter (Jimmy Akingbola), the leader of Shadowspire, will also be featured in the flashback arc. Conklin will first appear in episode three of the season.
Robbins joins Neal McDonough who has been cast as villain Damien Darhk. Alexander Calvert is also added to the cast to play Lonnie Machin/Anarky, while Echo Kellum will star as Michael Holt a.k.a. Mister Terrific.
Besides "Stargate: Atlantis", Robbins starred as Charlie Connor on "Battlestar Galactica", and as Henry Foss on "Sanctuary". He also played Tector on "Falling Skies".
In other news, "Arrow" lead actor Stephen Amell has been engaged in a feud with WWE star Cody Rhodes/Stardust for mimicking his superhero catchphrase, "You have failed this city!" during a match on Thursday night, July 30 against R-Truth.
Amell tweeted, "You know the saying imitation is the sincerest form of flattery? I disagree. Somebody point me towards @StardustWWE!"

The war of words actually started earlier this month, when Stardust taunted Amell as saying, "Even the sharpest arrows, no matter what color, come crashing down," referring to Amell's on-screen alter ego's weapon. Amell responded on Twitter at the time, ".@StardustWWE -- you can insult me all you want. When you start insulting The Green Arrow & all it represents you're towing a fine line."
"Arrow" returns with its new season Wednesday, October 7 at 8 P.M. on The CW.
