"Fuller House" has made a tweak on its central character. Original description of the upcoming series revealed that D.J. Tanner was supposed to be a newly widowed mother of two and expecting her third child, but Candace Cameron Bure recently said that it's no longer the case.

Sharing update on the "Full House" revival, the actress told The Hollywood Reporter at the Summer TCA press tour on Wednesday, July 29 that her character's no longer pregnant. "She's actually not pregnant anymore. The baby's been born," Candace said. "We didn't start it off quite so heavy so some more time has passed than they originally intended."

She went on dishing, "It is tragedy that starts off the show, which was like the original 'Full House', but the themes are always heartfelt, it's always a situation you can always learn something from. Tonally, it will feel the same as the original 'Full House', which is heartfelt and funny and family friendly but its current. It's today's time."

Since D.J. is described as a widow, there have been speculations that her high school boyfriend Steve (Scott Weinger) is dead. Responding to this, Candace said, "Rest assured, Steve is not dead." Weinger himself previously hinted at his return to the Netflix spin-off.

Candace also said that viewers would "learn little bits about" D.J.'s late husband. "Whether they'll have flashback scenes or anything like that, I have no idea, but we talk about him because you have to," she explained. "When that happens and you have children, its something you have to discuss and discuss those emotions and the healing from it and how to move on."

While D.J. has just healed after a tragedy, another couple Jesse (John Stamos) and Becky are living a happy life. Lori Loughlin gushed, "I've always though that they were still a couple that was happily married and still in love, and they are."

On whether some of the original stars would be featured beyond the first episode, Loughlin dished, "They're talking about having [me] maybe come back here and there. We just need to figure out the dates. Because I know we'd all like to pop in and do 'Fuller House' if we could."

"Fuller House" will consist of 12 episodes which will be made available in 2016 on Netflix.
