J.K. Rowling defended Serena Williams online. The Harry Potter author quickly jumped to the athlete's defense on Twitter after the female tennis player was dissed by an internet troll over her physical appearance.
"Ironic then that main reason for her success is that she is built like a man," the hater wrote, to which Rowling quickly fired back, "Yeah, my husband looks just like this in a dress. You're an idiot." The reply was accompanied with pictures of Williams showing off her curves in a red form-fitting dress.

"I'm #TeamSerena today, because you don't meet many super-talented people nicer than she is. Go @serenawilliams!" she posted along with a picture of her with the tennis champ. She added, "#SerenaSlam! I love her. What an athlete, what a role model, what a woman!"
