Cooper is suing the magazine for allegedly violating privacy with Irina Shayk, demanding 1,000 Euros or around $12,500 for damages.

Bradley Cooper is the latest celebrity suing French magazine Oops!, following in the footsteps of Leonardo DiCaprio. The "American Sniper" actor filed a lawsuit against Oops! for invasion of privacy following the publication's May 28 story about his love life with Irina Shayk.

According to statement in the suit which Cooper filed with the help of French lawyer Vincent Toledano, the star had never publicly addressed dating rumors with the Russian model. Under French law, the story clearly violated Cooper's right to a private life as the country bans any publications form printing any information about celebrities' personal life.

In the lawsuit, Cooper is also asking the magazine for 11,000 Euros or around $12,500 in damages, in addition to legal fees.

The owner of the troubled magazine, Frederic Truskolaski, recently talked to Gossip Cop about the latest lawsuit, saying that the story was based on reality that Cooper and Shayk indeed frequently hang out together.

"We do not understand why Bradley Cooper is suing us," Truskolaski told the website. "Our story is based on the Spanish magazine Hola that shows clearly that Bradley and Irina are going out together."

Prior to Cooper, DiCaprio filed a lawsuit against the same magazine for making a fake report claiming he shared a baby together with Rihanna. The 40-year-old star demanded the magazine to pay him 18,000 Euros for damages and legal fees.
