The Adam Levine-fronted band apologizes for scraping their gig in Liverpool due to the singer's health issue.

AceShowbiz - Maroon 5 is forced to cancel their concert at the Echo Arena in Liverpool on Friday night, May 29 due to health issue. The band's lead singer Adam Levine has been ordered to take a break by doctors due to throat problem.

The Arena announced, "We are sorry to announce that Maroon 5 have to cancel their show tonight in Liverpool at the Echo Area. Lead singer Adam Levine has been struck down with a throat problem and is unable to perform on doctors orders."

"I am really sorry not to be able to perform tonight, but I have been told to rest up by the doctor," the frontman issued an apology. "As a band we always want to give every performance our all and sadly I just cannot do that tonight!"

The band will next perform in Birmingham and Manchester before rocking Amsterdam and then jetting off to Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. They will stay on the road until October.
