Harrison Ford was seen flying again for the first time on Thursday morning, May 28, just months after his horrific plane crash back in March. In some photos obtained by X17Online, the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" actor was seen piloting a green helicopter for a flight to Catalina Island.
Harrison wasted no time hopping his 2013 Bell 407 Helicopter shortly after arriving at Santa Monica airport in California. The 72-year-old actor was accompanied by a co-pilot. After landing safely, he received a warm hug from a friend before leaving the place.
The "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" actor looked healthy and cheerful during the outing. He sported a grey cap, a yellow tee, green pants and blue sneakers. He carried a small black backpack and his cellphone. The outing came just one week after Harrison was spotted driving his Tesla in Los Angeles.
Harrison was sent to UCLA Medical Center on March 5 after his vintage World War II training plane crash landed on a Santa Monica golf course. He reportedly underwent surgery for broken ankle and pelvis before being released from the hospital in late March.
