AceShowbiz - "Dancing with the Stars" celebrated its 10th anniversary on Tuesday, April 28 with a star-studded special. Former champions like Kristi Yamaguchi, Meryl Davis, Alfonso Ribeiro and Donald Driver, and former pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy returned to the dance floor to join the celebration.
The hour-long special opened with montage of all previous winning couples. Season 1 winner Kelly Monaco then joined forces with her All-Stars partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy for a quick dance while stripping down to their undies.
There was also a tribute to longtime cast members Derek Hough and Mark Ballas. Still sidelined by injury, Derek was replaced by Sasha Farber who danced with Derek's former partners, including Kristi Yamaguchi, Chelsea Kane (previously known as Chelsea Staub) and a four-months-pregnant Katherine Jenkins. Mark, meanwhile, danced with his former partners Amy Purdy, Maria Menounos and Amber Riley.
Maksim, who had a heated argument with judge Len Goodman during his time on the show, showed that there's no bad blood between them as they were seen riding a bicycle built for two. Maks also danced with Meryl Davis in a dance-off against Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson.
Seven NFL players, Kurt Warner, Donald Driver, Jacobey Jones, Michael Irvin, Hines Ward, Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith, who were competing on the show in previous seasons danced with three female pros, Karina Smirnoff, Emma Slater and Anna Trebunskaya. There was also a musical performance by Patti LaBelle, Lil' Kim and Amber Riley.
The show was closed with a group dance featuring former and current contestants and pros, joined by the four judges as well as hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews.
