Cameron Diaz sported a diamond ring on her left hand while going out in West Hollywood, California on Monday, December 22. In some photos obtained by Mail Online, Cameron wore a white tee paired with a green jacket and blue jeans. She completed her look with large sunglasses, brown boots and a black bag.
Reports about Cameron's engagement to Benji Madden first emerged on Friday. On Monday, a friend of Benji confirmed to PEOPLE that the couple was indeed engaged. "It happened a few nights ago," the source said, "All of Benji's friends are aware and happy for him. [Cameron's] mom is a fan of him as well and gave her blessing."
More details about Cameron and Benji's engagement were revealed. An insider told Us Weekly that the couple was hoping to get married in early 2015. The insider said Benji "swept her off her feet."
Another source close to Cameron said, "Cameron hasn't been this happy in a long time. She found someone who knew how lucky he was to have her. The other guys treated her badly, but Benji would do anything for her. She's madly in love." The source added that the "Annie" star thought Benji was "the one" because of his "chivalrous ways."
