John Stamos has to postpone his TV return. ABC has decided to scrap new dramedy "Members Only" starring the "Full House" alum and Betsy Brandt which had received a straight-to-series order in January.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cast was informed on Saturday, November 22 that the network decided not to move forward with the drama series. The show initially had "American Hustle" director David O. Russell on board as a writer and executive producer, but he dropped out of the project in February, a month after the project was picked up to 13-episode series.

"Erin Brockovich" writer Susannah Grant was attached to pen the script and executive produce the series. Carl Beverly and Sarah Timberman were also set to serve as executive producers.

The drama was described as "an upstairs/downstairs soap centered on a private country club." It would be Russell's first TV project.
