A new teaser of the upcoming season of "True Blood" has just arrived as premiere date for the 6th cycle is coming closer. It gives an extended look at the chaos in the backwater Louisiana town of Bon Temps as the war between human and vampire is raging on.
A lot of blood is spilled. Someone gets gunned down as Eric and Tara are held at gunpoint and so is Pam, but she tries to talk her way out. Meanwhile, Bill is still playing god. In one scene, Eric is seen holding a stake and aiming it at Bill's chest as Bill holds him by his throat.
"True Blood" will return Sunday, June 16 at 9 P.M. on HBO. The first episode is directed by Stephen Moyer, who takes on the role of Bill Compton on the hit series. Anna Paquin and Alexander Skarsgard reprise their roles as Sookie and Eric respectively.
There will also be new faces. Among others are Rutger Hauer, Rob Kazinsky and Jurnee Smollett. Hauer will play a sinister guy who has mysterious ties to Sookie and Jason, Kazinsky will portray a new Fae love interest to Sookie, and Smollett will be a do-gooder Nicole.
