The NBC show will bring back the original coach line-up with Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Cee-Lo Green and Christina Aguilera in the fall, while Shakira and Usher will return next spring.

AceShowbiz - Shakira and Usher may be leaving "The Voice" after this season, but not for good. Entertainment Weekly has learned that NBC is finalizing deals with the latin songstress and the R&B singer to have them returning to the show for the sixth season, which will air next spring.

For the upcoming fifth season which will premiere in the fall, meanwhile, "The Voice" will reportedly bring back all original coaches: Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Cee-Lo Green and Christina Aguilera. Adam and Blake are expected to return for the spring cycle as well.

The first three seasons of "The Voice" with the original coach line-up were so popular, but the shakeup in season 4 with the addition of Shakira and Usher proved to be successful, too. With this coach rotation, the hit reality singing competition series will be able to feature variety, yet keep familiarity.

Shakira has confirmed she won't return to the fifth season, explaining, "I have to get back to my baby - give him some love and dedicate some time to him and also to my new album that I'm working on."

The show's host Carson Daly, meanwhile, confirmed Christina's return for the next installment, gushing, "It's great to have her come back into the fold." He, however, was coy when addressing Usher's future. "I don't know. He might be back, he might not, he might be back now. He might be back later, but he's been an incredible addition to the show," he said. "I hope he comes back, if not now, soon!"
