Rutger Hauer has been spotted filming the sixth season of "True Blood". The actor, who is cast as a new series regular, was pictured sporting wild white hair and smoking pipe on the set in Los Angeles on March 12. Joining him during the production that day was Ryan Kwanten who plays Jason.

"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Blade Runner" star Hauer will be seen as Macklyn, a sinister guy who has mysterious ties to Sookie and Jason. Robert Kazinsky is also added to the cast as new Fae love interest to Sookie.
