It looks like Kristen Stewart's apology for boyfriend Robert Pattinson did not work. The "Twilight" actor has reportedly packed his bags and moved out of their love nest in Los Angeles.

"I'm not sure they'll be able to recover from this," a source told People of the couple. After intimate photos of Stewart and married director Rupert Sanders came out, Stewart had issued a public apology for those who are hurt, especially Pattinson.

"I am deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry," she said.

Pattinson has remained mum about the situation but is said "heartbroken and angry". Stewart herself is devastated. "Kristen really loves Rob more than anything. He's all that matters to her right now," an insider said.

The British actor said in an interview with Vanity Fair that he cannot tolerate cheating. "But there's a thing I've never got: That is, why do people cheat?" he said about men dating a married woman. "I can understand the impulse. But not how you can keep two relationships going at the same time for long."
