R&B Artist Frank Ocean is about to embark on his first solo tour. Anyone who is hearing about the tour just now is out of luck because tickets have sold out in all venues for the month-long tour. The good news came hot on heels of his official coming out of the closet.

The series of concerts which has been dubbed, "An Evening with Frank Ocean: Channel Orange Tour", was announced by the singer-songwriter just a month ago. He will be playing at 14 venues across the country and in some Canadian cities. The tour begins in Seattle, WA next Friday, July 13.

The performances are being held in support of Ocean's new album called, "Channel Orange". The new record contains 17 tracks and features collaborations with Andre 3000 (Andre Benjamin), John Mayer and Earl Sweatshirt. The CD will be released in the United States on July 17.

Two songs from "Channel Orange" have been released so far including his smooth new single, "Sweet Life." In this track, Ocean sings about having a privileged lifestlye as heard in the lines, "You've had a landscaper and a house keeper since you were born, yeah/ The starshine always kept you warm/ So why see the world, when you got the beach".

"Channel Orange" is the follow-up to Ocean's 2011 mixtape, "Nostalgia, Ultra". The street album featured reinterpretations of existing songs from Coldplay, MGMT, and other acts.

Before rising to stardom, Ocean worked behind the scenes of the music industry as a songwriter. He has written songs for big names like Justin Bieber and John Legend before stepping to the front of the stage as a member of Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All and now as a solo artist.
