A new trailer for DreamWorks Animation's "Rise of the Guardians" has been dropped. It introduces the film's lead character, Jack Frost, who was not featured at all in the first trailer. This new sneak peek highlights Jack's duty as the creator of winter and how he joins Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, Sandman and Tooth Fairy to battle the Nightmare King.

In the upcoming animated movie, those legendary characters will show off their hidden extraordinary abilities. When an evil spirit known as Pitch lays down the gauntlet to take over the world, the immortal Guardians must join forces to protect the hopes, beliefs and imagination of children everywhere.

Based on William Joyce's children books, "Rise of the Guardians" is directed by Peter Ramsey with David Lindsay-Abaire penning the script. Lining up in the voice cast ensemble are Chris Pine as Jack, Hugh Jackman as Easter Bunny, Isla Fisher as Tooth Fairy, Alec Baldwin as Santa, and Jude Law as Pitch.

Pine recently told The Hollywood Reporter that he's very excited about being part of the star-studded fantasy movie. "I really enjoy this movie," he gushed. "I think it is really, really different from the other animated movies that I've seen."
