TV

Ryan Tedder reveals at the Grammy Awards that his pal Gavin is joining the next season of the dancing competition.

AceShowbiz -

Gavin DeGraw might be one of the contestants in season 14 of "Dancing with the Stars". Spilling the beans of the singer/songwriter's possible participation in the ABC reality show was none other than his good friend Ryan Tedder.

"Gavin DeGraw is doing Dancing With the Stars, I heard," the OneRepublic frontman said when met on the red carpet of Sunday, February 12's Grammy Awards. The network, however, has not responded to a request for comment on DeGraw's casting rumor.

Prior to Gavin, football player Tim Tebow and reality star Kyndra Mayo were mentioned as possible contestants in the next season of "DWTS". A representative for the Denver Broncos quarterback, however, has denied the report as stating, "Tim does not have any interest in participating in the show. He is focused on preparing for the 2012 season with the Denver Broncos."

Meanwhile, Kyndra's sister Courtney revealed that the former cast member of "Laguna Beach" was approached, but she is currently listed as an alternate. "If someone turns the show down or drops out before the deadline, which I believe is February 28, Kyndra could possibly replace them. But if that doesn't happen, she's been told the show is very interested in her for next season," so she explained.

The official cast line-up of "DWTS" season 14 is expected to be unveiled on "Good Morning America" on Tuesday, February 28.
