Matthew Broderick and Clint Eastwood aren't the only Hollywood stars who got people talking about their Super Bowl commercials. Will Ferrell has apparently stirred interest with his ad for Old Milwaukee as well given that his spot was aired only in Nebraska during a break of the Sunday, February 5 game.

In the commercial, the "Casa de Mi Padre" actor walks slowly through a wheat field while a dramatic instrumental is playing in the background. Once he gets up to the camera, he catches a beer can tossed to him and cracks it open. As the comedian says something, his words appear to be bleeped and the commercial cuts to black.

This isn't the first commercial Ferrell did for Old Milwaukee. Back in 2011, the Detective Allen Gamble of "The Other Guys" appeared in three spots airing only in the Quad Cities of Iowa and Illinois.

"Will Ferrell approached Old Milwaukee about creating ads because he's a big fan of the brand," Daren Metropoulos, co-owner of Pabst Brewing Company, told Adweek. "He was interested in developing something unique and we gave him the freedom to pursue his creative vision and produce these spots with a local vibe."
