Amidst controversy surrounding her "Saturday Night Live" performance, Lana Del Rey is tapped to perform at the upcoming South by Southwest (SXSW) festival. The "Video Games" singer joins the likes of Talib Kweli, The Ting Tings, Rye Rye, K'naan, Grace Potter, Of Montreal, Best Coast, Gossip, Miike Snow and M. Ward in the lineup.

An annual music, film and interactive conference, this year's SXSW is going to run from March 9 to March 18 in Austin Texas. The interactive will be conducted from date 9 - 13, the film segment will take place from date 9 - 17, and the music festivity will be held from date 13 - 18.

Bruce Sprinsteen is confirmed to give a keynote speech during the music part of the conference. John Mayer, who currently take a vocal rest after undergoing throat surgery, will make his return at the gig. He is expected to perform at Stubb's Bar-B-Q on March 17. This will mark his first SXSW show since performing in a career-changing showcase back in 2000.
