The 2008 runner-up of 'American Idol' pours his heart out in the music video which was filmed during his recent visit to Hong Kong.

AceShowbiz - David Archuleta has debuted a music video in support of his latest single called "Wait". The runner-up of "American Idol" season 7 is seen staring off into the distance while standing in the middle of the streets. "Even though you're gone I can hear your heart/ It's calling out my name like a flash in the dark," he pours his heart out.

"Wait" is one of the bonus tracks from the Asian Tour Edition of Archie's latest studio album "The Other Side of Down". Its music video was filmed while he stayed in Hong Kong to play live shows as part of the tour, and it's debuted just a few days after the singer announced his hiatus from music.

"I've chosen to serve a full-time mission," the 20-year-old musician said during a concert in Salt Lake City. "It's not because someone told me I was supposed to do it and not because I no longer want to do music anymore. It's because it's what I feel I need to do next in my life."

Archie has just wrapped the tour. He wrote in a series of tweets, "Had such a great, great last show tonight in Beaver Creek! Thank you everyone who came to the shows! Hope you all had a good time! Stuck in the mountains on the bus because of a snowstorm. Missed my flight, so I guess a new adventure will begin haha. On a side note, the band and some crew who took a shuttle might still make their flights. Some awesome mountains around here too."

After he finally got through the roadblock and flew back home, the Miami native tweeted, "No place like home for the holidays!" He later wished his devotees around the world a happy holiday, "Merry Christmas Eve! And Merry Christmas to those on the other end of the world!! May everyone have a great Holiday Weekend!"
